The Role

Senior leadership role | Major NSW referral hospital | Near Sydney

We are recruiting for a Staff Specialist Urologist on behalf of a key client located within easy reach of Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role that combines clinical excellence, leadership, and long-term career progression in a modern, well-resourced regional setting.

As Staff Specialist Urologist, you will provide both clinical and non-clinical leadership within the Department of Urology and associated outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Delivering high-quality urological care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Providing supervision, mentoring, and support to junior medical and clinical staff
- Working collaboratively with the Emergency Department, other specialties, and primary care
- Contributing to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
- Engaging with clinicians across the Local Health District to ensure integrated patient care

This role offers scope to shape services, influence training, and build a strong subspecialty footprint.

Requirements

- FRACS (Urology)
- RACS Advanced Trainee within 6 months of Fellowship
- RACS-assessed Substantially Comparable or eligible for assessment (interview dates booked)
- NZ-trained Urologists seeking work in Australia
- UK CCT Urologists
