The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager Retail Operations you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and commercial performance across Genesis' factory-owned outlets. You will provide direct leadership to Showcase Principals, ensuring consistent delivery of sales targets, premium customer experiences, and financial accountability at every retail site. By embedding disciplined retail management practices, you will strengthen outlet-level execution while safeguarding Genesis' brand standards, aligning outlet operations with national sales plans, marketing campaigns, and customer retention strategies, while fostering cross-functional collaboration with Sales Operations, Marketing, Aftersales, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct leadership and accountability for Showcase Principals across all factory-owned outlets.
- Set clear operational standards and ensure outlets deliver consistent retail execution aligned with Genesis' premium positioning.
- Establish a high-performance culture by setting expectations, driving accountability, and recognising excellence across outlet teams.
- Monitor compliance with brand, legal, and operational standards, ensuring outlets operate with integrity and consistency.
- Drive outlet achievement of sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction KPIs through targeted coaching and performance tracking.
- Leverage customer and operational data to guide decision-making and enhance customer service delivery.
- Guarantee compliance with brand identity, showroom Corporate Identity (CI) standards, and retail process guidelines.




- Work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to align outlet performance with national sales plans, targets, and incentive structures.
- Work with the Retail Marketing team to develop and execute local marketing initiatives that drive enquiry, support sales objectives, and strengthen the Genesis brand presence in each market.
- Mentor and develop Showcase Principals to strengthen their leadership capability and retail management skills.

About you You have the below skills and experience with a passion to develop your career with an creative luxury brand.

- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in people management, including coaching & development, driving high performance, and fostering accountability in teams.
- Operations management experience in logistics/inventory/ stock management and sales within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive retail operations with 5+ years experience working in automotive across retail and wholesale.
- Strong background and experience in managing and influencing Dealer Principals, General Sales Managers and Sales Managers to drive sale performance in retail stores.
- Valid Driver's Licence and ability to travel interstate when required.
