Senior Project Manager - Data Centre Deployment

Fully Remote - must be based in Sydney or Melbourne

12 Month Daily Rate Contract initially A global technology solutions provider is delivering technology infrastructure across a portfolio of current data centre builds in Australia, supporting AI and generative AI workloads. You would own the technology and services fit-out: power, cabling, racks, GPU installation, HVAC and cooling. The base build is delivered separately and does not apply to this role.

This is a large scale, multi site programme. Multiple Senior Project Managers are being appointed, each running several projects concurrently in a fast paced deployment environment.

What you'll be doing

- Managing end to end delivery of multi-site data centre deployments from initiation through to handover
- Coordinating specialist vendors and delivery partners across the full fit-out scope
- Managing budgets, schedules and risk across concurrent sites
- Reporting to and presenting to senior stakeholders, internally and client facing




- Acting as a mentor to members of the project team

What we're looking for

- 10+ years in IT, network or telecommunications infrastructure project management
- Multi-site deployment experience at scale, managing third party delivery partners
- Genuine ground-up build experience. Not suitable if your experience lies only in data centre migrations, upgrades or civil construction, this is a different type of build
- Strong fit for Senior PMs from mobile network or radio base station deployment backgrounds
- Direct data centre experience is preferred but not essential
- Outstanding stakeholder management, comfortable presenting to executive audiences
- Fully remote, Sydney or Melbourne based
