About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and multi-skilled customer service person to join our team and assist with customer service, sales, purchasing, support, freight and administration.
We are focused on delivering the high standards of customer service and believe in quoting, processing & dispatching orders quickly and therefore are looking for talented people who believe in giving 100% effort, focus, reliability and commitment to constantly improve with a positive ‘can do’ attitude each and every day.
Training will be provided and we are seeking Candidates with the following skills / abilities:
- Have some previous customer service experience
- Be rapid-paced and believe in getting back to customers quickly
- Able to follow the set procedures for tasks
- Self-motivated and energetic / enthusiastic
- Strong customer service focus and a belief in giving exceptional service
- Able to write up quotes and discuss with customers and get orders
- Be a fast learner
- Have good computer skills
- Have good telephone manner
This role includes assisting inbound sales calls with product questions and availability, order processing, freight and support. It is a multi-skilled role and does involve a broad range of tasks including phone sales and face-to-face sales in our showroom.
This role is for a confident person with retail or customer service experience and ability. Some knowledge and experience in office furniture would be beneficial but not essential. Must be well-presented and speak in a clear and professional manner and able to follow directions, resolve disputes and meet sales KPI’s and targets. Because this role is heavily computer based, we are seeking someone with excellent computer literacy, skills and reasonable typing speed.
