Basil's Fine Foods in Mindarie is hiring Retail Assistants for full time, part-time, and casual positions across multiple departments. We’re offering 3–5 shifts per week. You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our store. We are seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused people to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have robust communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

BAKERY Assistant:

- Make and produce baked and par-baked goods to a high standard every day eg; quiche, breads, cheese cakes and other desserts

- Able to follow recipes accurately and consistently

- Plan and prepare ahead for product requirements and high-demand times

CAFE Assistant:

- Make high-quality coffee, beverages and acai bowls consistently

- Skilled in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment

- Prioritise tasks to serve customers promptly

DELI Assistant:

- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service at the deli counter whilst serving hot and cold foods

- Assist in food preparation and presentation, keeping display cabinets stocked and clean

- Maintain stock rotation and management

CHECKOUT Assistant:

- Operating POS system and handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently





- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering customer inquiries and providing recommendations on our products

- Assisting with stock management, including receiving deliveries and maintaining store presentation
