We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Management Trainer to join our team and help shape the next generation of traffic controllers and planners.
This role is about more than ticking boxes. You’ll be training people who work on live roads, in real conditions, where good training genuinely keeps people safe.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering accredited traffic management training (theory and practical) in line with Austroads, state requirements, and ASQA standards
- Assessing student competency and providing transparent, constructive feedback
- Developing and improving training materials, assessments, and practical scenarios
- Maintaining training records and compliance documentation
- Supporting industry clients with upskilling, refresher training, and customised programs
What we’re looking for
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
- Solid experience in traffic management, temporary traffic control, or road construction
- Strong knowledge of South Australian traffic management requirements and Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management
- Confident presenter who can engage a room and keep training practical and relevant
- High attention to detail with compliance and documentation
- Current driver’s licence
- Whitecard
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Experience delivering Austroads Training
- Experience with RTO compliance or working within an RTO environment
- Ability to develop training content or contribute to course design
