The Opportunity





This 15-month full-time fixed term contract position will suit a seasoned medical device or hospital sales professional. You will inherit an established territory consisting of both public and private hospitals + specialist day surgeries and will be responsible for maintaining current and driving territory sales to increase market share.

Start Date: 1 September 2026

Sunset Date: 3 December 2027

Responsibilities

Achieving sales revenue and increasing market share by promoting and selling our range of surgical vision products to key Eye Specialists in assigned territoryActing as a consultant and a trusted cataract partner, providing clinical support during procedures and in-service training and education to new users with the proper use of our specialised surgical products and equipmentIdentifying new business opportunities and partnering with Marketing, Skilled Education etc. to progress commercial and KOL plans with target customersHandling customer queries and managing customer issues/complaints as it arises, and monitoring competitor activity and market trends, recommending solutions and implementing corrective actions as requiredMaintaining a high level of surgical and industry knowledge as relevant to the role

About You





Degree qualified with minimum 2-3 years medical device or hospital sales experienceClear passion for the Ophthalmology space; plus a history of strong commercial achievements and the desire to grow business and market shareCommercial acumen, and a positive can-do attitude to achieving resultsExcellent communication skills: and the ability to influence different stakeholders and build long-term relationshipsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team with strong organisation skills

This is a 15-month full-time fixed term contract position and will require frequent travel to hospitals and day surgeries within Adelaide Metro. All applicants MUST have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
