We are seeking a client-care superstar to join our Veterinary Dermatology Specialists team. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for pet owners while supporting their pets’ specialised care.
From managing appointments to providing clear communication and administrative support, you’ll ensure each client feels like part of the Veterinary Dermatology Specialists family. We require a part time receptionist (20 hours per week with the potential for increased hours depending on the clinic needs), commencing as soon as possible.

About the role:
Your main responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome clients and patients
· Use Fear Free techniques to provide a stress-free experience for our clients and patients
· Manage client enquiries across various platforms
· Book, confirm and reschedule appointments
· Coordinate information between all team members to ensure smooth delivery of services
· Process client payments and insurance claims
· Ensure accurate and timely data entry of client and veterinary professional information
· Liaise effectively with all members of the team, members of the public and other veterinary professionals
· Administrative tasks that primarily involve client care and follow up
· Project work as required
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 3+ years experience in client care in a veterinary setting
- Polished customer service and communication skills, with a genuine passion for helping people and their pets
- Confidence using computers and learning new software (experience with EzyVet is highly regarded)
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of keeping records pertaining to client communication
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a busy environment
- Ability to cover leave for other client care team members
