As an SMP SUPERVISOR (Structural, Mechanical and Piping), you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the execution of maintenance and installation projects within the mining and resources sector. In this casual role, you will be based in South Australia, managing a team of skilled technicians to ensure the successful delivery of critical infrastructure and asset maintenance.

This role is available on either 2:1 or 3:1 ROSTER and hiring from ANY MAJOR CAPITAL CITIES across Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervising a team of tradespeople, including fitters, welders, riggers and labourers, to complete SMP maintenance and installation projects

- Planning, scheduling and coordinating work activities to meet project timelines and quality standards

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

- Communicating effectively with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues

- Monitoring and reporting on project performance, productivity and cost control

- Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to develop the skills of the team

ABOUT YOU

- Significant experience as an SMP supervisor or leading hand in the mining,



resources or industrial maintenance sectors

- Solid technical knowledge of SMP systems, including fabrication, installation and maintenance procedures

- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver projects to a high standard

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders

- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality assurance

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment and adapt to changing priorities

- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
