Meter Technician Electrician – Full Time

Location: Adelaide Hills, SA
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (Saturdays may be required)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in the Adelaide Hills as a Meter Technician. In this role, you will carry out electrical work relating to the installation, testing, and maintenance of smart meters and associated equipment. You’ll ensure secure, efficient, and high-quality delivery of daily activities in line with client, business, and industry expectations.

The below will be provided by Macquarie Electric

- Metering training

- Testing Equipment

- Vehicle (with Personal Use)

- IPad

- All required specialised training/authorisations

Key Responsibilities





- Complete meter installations, exchanges, maintenance, testing, and special investigations

- Perform troubleshooting and wiring verification on metering systems

- Obtain load profile and other data from metering equipment

- Promote compliance with industry standards and internal policies

- Support MQE performance KPIs across safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction

- Ensure timely and accurate data capture and completion of documentation, including risk assessments

- Comply with all policies, procedures, privacy, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements

- Must be a qualified electrician (essential)

- Meter Technician experience desirable

- Must be willing to travel for work as required

- Must be available for some Saturdays as part of operational needs
