About the role

Join the team at R & R Medical Pty Ltd as a Medical Receptionist in our Townsville, QLD clinic ( Mater Medical Centre). This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the chance to support our patients and medical team. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive a warm and professional experience.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system
- Handling patient inquiries and providing information about clinic services
- Collecting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and inventory management
- Working closely with the medical team to ensure smooth clinic operations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or similar customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to efficiently manage a busy clinic environment




- Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
- A caring and empathetic attitude with a commitment to excellent patient care
- Flexibility to work in a casual role with the ability to adapt to changing schedules
