About the Role: An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Business Continuity Practitioner within the Corporate Services. The NALHN Business Continuity Practitioner supports the development, implementation and monitoring of the SA Health Business Continuity Framework. They undertake research, provide policy support and advice to ensure the effective development and implementation of emergency management policies and procedures.

The Business Continuity Practitioner is accountable to the NALHN Manager, Disaster Resilience Unit to: Develop the plans to operationalise the strategic direction of the NALHN Disaster Resilient Unit. Overseas key metrics of organisational disaster resilience strategy in the areas of planning, response, and recovery. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure unit and network planning is collaborative, consultative and evidence based.

The design and planning of activities to 'test' Business Continuity Plans to ensure their effectiveness and increase organisational resilience. About You: In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships.

An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
