HR Driver / Yardperson – Formwork Industry

Siteforce Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced HR Driver / Yardperson to join a well-established formwork company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on yard work in a fast-paced construction environment.

About the Role

Working as part of a supportive team, you will be responsible for delivering formwork materials to construction sites while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the yard. This role offers a great mix of driving and physical work, with no two days the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely deliver formwork materials and equipment to commercial and civil construction sites.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Secure loads in accordance with transport regulations.
- Assist with receiving, checking and organising incoming and outgoing stock.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard.
- Carry out vehicle pre-start inspections and report any maintenance issues.




- Work closely with the operations team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.

Essential Requirements

- Current Manual HR Driver Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Previous experience in the construction industry.
- Good understanding of load restraint and protected transport practices.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Highly Regarded

- Previous formwork experience.
- Experience working in a construction yard.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with construction equipment.
