Role Description The Building Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Modbury, SA. This position oversees day-to-day building operations, including coordinating trades, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring that all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards. The Building Supervisor will inspect properties regularly, manage building maintenance tasks, and respond to issues promptly to minimize disruption for residents. The role includes liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, keeping accurate records of work completed, and reporting on building condition and maintenance needs. The supervisor is expected to provide clear guidance to onsite workers,



maintain a safe work environment, and support continuous improvement in building and facility management practices.
Qualifications

Strong supervisory skills, including coordinating teams, overseeing contractors, and managing day-to-day site activities.Practical carpentry skills and hands-on experience with building repairs, fit-outs, and general construction tasks.Effective communication skills for working with residents, trades, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Experience in building maintenance, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and fault resolution.Knowledge of facility management (FM) principles, safety standards, and relevant building codes or regulations.Previous experience in residential construction, property maintenance, or building supervision is highly regarded.Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes of work, and technical documentation.Robust organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and record-keeping.Competence in using basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, maintenance management systems).Relevant trade qualification, building-related certification, or equivalent experience is desirable.
