Mine Planning Engineer/Open Pit Location: Perth, WA Employment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop short, medium, and long-term mine plans.Perform pit optimisation, mine design, and production scheduling.Prepare Life of Mine (LOM) plans and production forecasts.Support drill & blast planning, haul road, and waste dump design.Collaborate with geology, survey, and operations teams.Monitor production performance and mine plan reconciliation.Required SkillsOpen Pit Mine PlanningLife of Mine (LOM) PlanningPit OptimisationMine DesignProduction SchedulingResource & Reserve EvaluationDrill & Blast PlanningMine ReconciliationFeasibility StudiesSoftwareDeswikVulcanSurpacMineSchedWhittleMicromine (preferred)RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.5+ years of Open Pit Mine Planning experience.Experience with gold, iron ore, lithium, copper, or base metals.Australian mining experience and working rights are highly preferred.
