About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Site Store Person to support site operations on the Boulder Creek Wind Farm construction project. This role is responsible for managing site stores, stock control, goods inwards/outwards, documentation and material movement to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day site activities.
Monday to Friday: 10 hours shifts
12 month contract with a view to extend throughout the duration of the project
Must have own car to drive to and from project site, located in Westwood.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of site stores, including goods inwards/outwards, checking, inspection, kitting, packing and dispatch.
- Identify and action material shortages, stock discrepancies, missing, lost or damaged parts in coordination with the site team.
- Match goods against delivery notes and escalate any issues as required.
- Maintain accurate records, including material certification, equipment calibration and test dates.
- Use internal systems such as Fieldworks, Smartsheet, Aconex, BOX or similar platforms to update documentation and records.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and take ownership of store accuracy and organisation.
- Load and unload vehicles and assist with deliveries when required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety requirements and relevant safety legislation.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in stores, warehousing, logistics, site administration or materials coordination.
- Experience working on construction, energy, infrastructure, industrial or remote site environments.
- A mechanical, hydraulic or electrical trade/technical background, or equivalent qualification, will be highly regarded.
- Solid computer literacy and confidence using internal systems or document control platforms.
- Ability to manage stock, maintain accurate records and follow site processes.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Forklift experience or willingness to operate a forklift where required.
- Ability to undertake manual handling and physically active duties in a safe manner.
Desired Attributes
- Previous wind turbine generator, renewable energy, GE/Alstom or similar OEM site experience.
- Relevant product, EHS or site safety training certifications.
- Flexibility to travel if required.
