Team members join a hospitality brand committed to professional standards, guest satisfaction, and memorable experiences.Role Description The BDM – MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) role is a position focused on driving MICE business to Amora Hotels & Resorts. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying current corporate and event leads, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and promoting hotel MICE offerings to agencies, corporates, and event planners. The role involves developing tailored proposals, negotiating rates and packages within set guidelines, and coordinating closely with on-property sales and events teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery. The BDM – MICE will also track sales performance, prepare activity reports, analyze market trends,
and participate in online sales calls or virtual presentations to enhance brand visibility and revenue.Qualifications Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within hotels, hospitality, or MICE.Strong relationship-building and account management skills with the ability to manage a client portfolio remotely.Solid negotiation and communication abilities, including preparing clear proposals and presentations.Competence in market research, lead generation, and sales pipeline management using CRM or similar tools.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (sales, events, operations) across different locations.Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.Understanding of event planning processes and conference or group booking requirements is highly advantageous.Proficiency in standard business software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools); experience with hotel sales systems is a plus.Relevant certificate or degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.Willingness to work flexibly across time zones as needed to support clients and hotel teams.
