This role is front of house.
Serving the Customer
- Provide an efficient and friendly service when taking orders at the front counter and drive-thru window.
- Sell and provide assistance to customers in their selection of product range.
- Suggest additional items and promotional items to complement the customer’s meal.
- Pack product for customers for either take away, dine-in or drive-thru collection.
- Clean tables, internal and external bins, chairs, floor, toilets, front counter area, brass fittings, windows and car
park to ensure a hygienic environment for customers.
- Adhere to and model appropriate company personal presentation and dress standards as per Restaurant Induction
and Safety Manual
- Manage cash register float and prepare regular surplus cash deposit in accordance with Cash Handling procedures.
- Maintain stock levels of condiments, straws, serviettes, customer feedback forms and product boxes.
- Maintain stock levels and neat presentation standards in fridges. Ensure product is facing forwards and stock is
correctly rotated in accordance with date coding and company policy and procedures.
- Display standard and promotional in-restaurant advertising material in line with company policy and procedures.
- As a member of the restaurant team, actively participate and contribute to restaurant team outcomes by making
suggestions for improvement as based on observations and customer feedback.
Food Preparation
- Provide fresh quality product for our customers.
- Prepare and cook product in accordance with all Food Handling and Hygiene guidelines.
- Pack and present prepared and cooked products in correct packaging.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, floor, and cool room fittings throughout the day and at close of trade.
- Adhere to company Job Safe and Food Safe practices.
Safety
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of company, safety, and restaurant policies and procedures and notify the
restaurant management team of any safety procedure or matter which is not fully understood or breached.
- Report any safety hazard within the work area of malfunction of any machinery, plant or equipment to the
management team.
- Report workplace incidents and near misses within required time frame to the manager on duty
- Comply with all written or verbal instructions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
