About The Role

We are seeking a Process Safety Specialist to join our Ingleburn Team. This role will report to the National HSE Manager and will be working closely with the Ingleburn Site Manager and the Ingleburn Operations Team to support the site on process safety related matters.

As this is an onsite role, opportunities for work from home is limited.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include

- Lead and foster process safety management.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Major Hazard Facility risk controls.
- Provide technical and systems support to safety and regulatory audits.
- Assist with the development, review, and update of Safety Cases, Licence applications, HSE management plans, environment plans, and associated regulatory submissions.
- Understanding of the site MHF Safety Case including the role and responsibilities of all site’s key stakeholders.
- In conjunction with the Site Manager,



ensure the Integrated Management System (IMS) is entrenched and reflected in the site process, activities, and training.
- Ensure understanding of the Bowties and all potential Major Incidents (MI) on the site including the controls for the potential MI’s.
- Plan and monitor scheduled monthly routine activities which include Site Improvement Plans, Routine Area Audits and Inspections, Hazard Identifications, Bow Tie Audits, Bow Tie Audit - Process, Work Permit issuing, Guarding Audits, SOP Reviews etc.

Skills and Experiences:

Key Skills and Experience

- Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience, ideally on a Major Hazard Facility or Dangerous Goods site.
- Cert IV/Diploma in WHS - desirable.
- Process Safety experience is highly regarded.
- Must have the ability to form functional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
