Oaktree is partnering with a leading ASX-listed financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Strategy Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ASX-listed organisation at an exciting point in its growth journey. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you'll work closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board to help shape strategic priorities across the business.

This is more than a traditional strategy role. You'll play a key role in enterprise strategy, business performance and governance, partnering with senior leaders to support strategic planning, evaluate growth opportunities and help drive business performance across the organisation. The role offers genuine ownership, broad exposure and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities

- Support the enterprise strategic planning process, including strategic planning cycles and enterprise-wide strategic reviews.
- Develop strategic recommendations, business cases and Board papers to support executive decision-making.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor research and strategic assessments to identify growth opportunities.
- Support the assessment of strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
- Facilitate enterprise business performance, governance and prioritisation across strategic initiatives.
- Work with senior leaders to develop performance measures and support enterprise planning.




- Prepare high-quality presentations and submissions for the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

What you'll bring

- Approximately 6–10 years' experience in management consulting and/or corporate strategy.
- Experience gained within a leading management consulting firm, with a focus on strategy (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, L.E.K., Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, Monitor Deloitte or similar)
- Strong structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, develop hypotheses, undertake analysis and synthesise recommendations.
- Experience developing business cases, commercial analysis and executive-level presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with Executive Leadership Teams and Boards.
- Experience within financial services, insurance or another highly regulated industry will be highly regarded.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a hands-on strategy role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
