About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Stylist to join the w hair bar team in Eastgardens, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will take a leadership role within our salon, mentoring junior stylists whilst delivering exceptional hair services to our valued clients. As a Senior Stylist, you will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and setting the standard for quality and professionalism across our team.

What you'll be doing

- Providing high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services to a diverse client base
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings
- Mentoring and supporting junior stylists through guidance, training and constructive feedback
- Consulting with clients to understand their hair goals and recommending appropriate treatments and products
- Maintaining exceptional standards of salon hygiene and adhering to health and safety protocols
- Contributing to a positive team workplace and collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth salon operations
- Staying current with the latest hair trends, techniques and industry developments
- Assisting with stock management and promoting retail products to clients
- Supporting the salon's business objectives through excellent customer service and professional conduct

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5+ years' professional experience as a qualified hairdresser or stylist
- Current and valid hairdressing qualification or equivalent industry certification
- Proven expertise in a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments
- Demonstrated ability to lead,



mentor and develop junior team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry trends
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding results
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment
- Professional appearance and a genuine passion for the beauty and hair industry
