King Living

Sydney

Own the forecast. Drive the supply. Keep the products moving — across a global operation built on Australian design.

The King Difference

This is not just a planning role where you maintain a spreadsheet and attend S&OP; meetings. This is a senior, commercially connected supply planning role where you own global demand and supply for your assigned product category — from maintaining an 18-month rolling forecast through to purchase order placement with global factories and third-party suppliers. You will sit at the intersection of Commercial, Finance, Product Development and global supply sites, translating data into decisions that directly shape what King Living has on its showroom floors and how much it costs to get it there.

You will lead the Demand Planning Meeting within the S&OP; process, challenge commercial inputs with data-led rigour, own the three core supply chain KPIs — DIFOT, Inventory and Forecast Accuracy — and drive continuous improvement across a vertically integrated, multi-site global supply network. If you are a senior supply planner with strong analytical capability, S&OP; leadership experience, and the drive to automate the repeatable and focus your energy on what actually moves the needle — this is the role for you.

What You Will Own Demand

Forecasting & Planning Own and maintain a rolling 18-month forecast — leading planning meetings, consolidating inputs from across the business, and challenging assumptions with data-led confidence. Supply & Order Management Work directly with global suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure products arrive on time and in full — managing purchase orders and lead times across finished goods and third-party suppliers. Performance & Inventory Own the key supply chain performance metrics — managing slow-moving and obsolete stock, driving inventory reduction, and keeping performance on track across your assigned categories.

Planning Systems

Keep planning processes running accurately and efficiently — maintaining the right level of detail across the product range and contributing to the systems that support the global supply network.

New Product Support

Ensure supply chain readiness is built into new product launches from the start — so the business can deliver on time when new products hit the market.

Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement smarter ways of working — using data, process redesign and automation to reduce manual effort and improve supply chain efficiency across the global network.

Who You Are You will likely come from a demand and supply planning role within retail, furniture or a similarly complex, multi-site global supply environment. What matters most is your analytical rigour, your ability to lead and influence an S&OP; process, and your appetite to use data and automation to work smarter. You are a senior supply planning professional who forms independent conclusions from data, challenges assumptions constructively, and takes genuine ownership of the numbers.

Minimum 5-7 years' experience in demand and supply planning or a similar role, preferably in retail or furniture

Experience with vertically integrated, multi-site global manufacturing and import supply chains

Proven ability to lead the S&OP; process for an assigned category, influencing and managing cross-functional meetings

Strong analytical approach — forms independent conclusions from data, recognising that stakeholder inputs may carry bias

Experience working alongside AI assistants and automation tools — with an appetite to automate routine planning and reporting work

Strong communication and influencing skills — able to present data-led recommendations to commercial, finance and factory stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or a related discipline

Literacy in Python or similar for data automation is desirable AI at King Living King Living is actively embracing AI across the business to remove friction, increase visibility and accelerate decision making.
