About the role As the Senior Urban Designer at Yarra Ranges Council, you will provide clear and practical urban design advice that supports good planning, solid public spaces and well-designed places across the municipality. This role is 12-month temporary full-time position (parental leave backfill).
Benefits of working with us:
Support work-life balance with your choice of monthly rostered day off and hybrid working arrangements.
Opportunities for professional development and to take on temporary roles in other teams to grow your skills and experience.
Novated lease vehicle options.

Experience in reviewing planning referrals, development proposals or project material and providing practical design advice.
Experience in preparing explicit written recommendations, technical comments, reports, briefing notes or supporting material for decision-makers.
Use relevant design software and presentation tools to communicate options, constraints and preferred approaches.
