What's on offer?
- $39.13 per hour
- Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Minimum 6-month assignment with the potential for extension based on workload

About the Role Working within a workshop setting, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing power tools while also supporting a large-scale national product recall project.
Your responsibilities will include
- Diagnosing, fault finding and repairing power tools and equipment
- Conducting safety and functional testing before products are returned to customers
- Assisting with the national product recall program, including inspections and repairs
- Recording repair findings and maintaining accurate system documentation
- Using computer systems to update job status, parts usage and repair information
- Assisting with workshop administration,
dispatch and workflow as required
- Maintaining a clean, protected and organised workshop
- Working collaboratively with the service team to achieve turnaround targets
About You To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience repairing mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment (power tools highly regarded)
- Robust mechanical aptitude with confidence using hand and power tools
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A reliable, punctual and team-focused attitude
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
Highly Desirable
- Qualifications or trade experience in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical fields
- Previous experience in a service technician, maintenance or repair environment
