We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional individual to join our organisation as a Shop Manager. This position presents a valuable opportunity for an individual who demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, a commitment to operational excellence, and a desire to assume responsibility while developing a long‑term career with an industry‑leading business.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail shop - opening and closing of shop
- Lead, coach and motivate team members to achieve business objectives.
- Achieve and increase sales, profitability and gross margin targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
- Monitor and manage labour expenditure and operational costs.
- Review advertising and promotional activities to maximise return on investment.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage product pricing to maximise profitability and competitiveness.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.




- Maintain a productive and positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Promote protected work practices, food safety compliance and environmental responsibility.
- Ensure all employment matters are managed in accordance with the relevant Retail Award.

Required Skills (Must-haves):

- Must have people development and training skills
- Capability on increasing shop sales and profit
- Familiar with stock control and ordering
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Preferably with proven experience (at least 5 years) in managing a dynamic sales team, to resolve problems and improve systems.
- Ability to motivate the team so that they strive to succeed
- Always act as a professional and enthusiastic team member
- Detailed knowledge of products for retail sale
- Good customer service skills and attitude
- A sound knowledge of all Baiada guidelines and commitment to the values of the Company
