The Opportunity

We currently seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our Forrestdale team. In this permanent full-time role, you will work on the service and repair of radiators, oil coolers, charge air coolers and other associated products.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

- Radiator repairs, rebuild and bolt up

- Stripping, washing, and testing radiators and cooling components

- Buffing radiator tubes

- Operation of hand tools such as grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery.

- Housekeeping duties to ensure safe operation of the work area

- Additional duties can include painting, strip and assembly, pressure testing and soldering

About You

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

- Mechanical aptitude and/or experience in a similar role.

- High Risk Work License – Forklift.





- Mechanical and/or radiator knowledge preferred but not essential.

- Previous experience working in mining / manufacturing industry, preferred.
