As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Hygienist to join our dynamic team in Geelong.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of workplace environments to identify and mitigate hazards which impact employee wellbeing. This role requires expertise in recognising, evaluating, and controlling various occupational hazards, with a particular emphasis on air quality, chemical exposures, and ergonomics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting occupational hygiene assessments and surveys in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

- Collecting and analysing samples of air, water, and other substances to assess potential risks to workers' health.

- Providing expert advice on the design and implementation of control measures to minimise occupational hazards.

- Developing and delivering training programs on occupational hygiene practices and protocols.

- Collaborating with clients to develop effective strategies for managing occupational health risks.

- Keeping abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the field of occupational hygiene.

Requirements:





- Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).

- Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an occupational hygienist, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.

- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
