Who We Are
At Offline Campers, we don’t just build campers — we build machines that take people further, deeper, and wilder into Australia than they’ve ever been.
Based in the iconic old Holden factory in Elizabeth South, we’re proud to carry on the legacy of Australian manufacturing with innovation, craftsmanship, and a team that genuinely enjoys coming to work each day.
If you like precision fabrication, working with stainless steel, aluminium and alloys, and seeing your welds transform into rugged, adventure-ready campers, this could be your next role.
The Opportunity
As our Aluminium Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality alloy components for our camper trailers.
This is a hands-on role — you’ll be welding, assembling, and finishing components while collaborating with the Fabrication and Assembly teams to ensure every trailer meets our award-winning standards.
What You’ll Get Stuck Into
- TIG and MIG welding of aluminium/alloy components (1.0mm – 5.0mm)
- Stainless steel tank welding
- Assembling alloy frames and parts to high-quality standards
- Reading and working from CAD/shop drawings and samples
- Polishing and finishing welds to a professional standard
- Collaborating with Fabrication and Assembly to keep production on track
- Identifying and resolving fabrication issues
- Mentoring or supporting less experienced welders
Who We’re Looking For
You might come from aluminium fabrication,
automotive, caravan, or general manufacturing, but the key thing is you take pride in your welds and enjoy producing components that last.
Ideally you’ll have:
- 3+ years experience welding aluminium/alloy materials
- Strong TIG and MIG welding skills
- Experience with alloy assembly and distortion control
- Ability to read CAD/shop drawings and work from samples
- A robust focus on quality and attention to detail
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks and lifting
- A positive, team-focused attitude
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with stainless steel or mild steel welding
- Polishing and finishing experience
- Forklift licence
- Experience with brake press or other fabrication equipment
A factory floor welding test may be required prior to starting.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive pay + super
- Flexible hours — because life happens
- Uniform & PPE provided
- Monthly team brekkies
- Free soft drinks and FUIC (yes, really)
- A genuine family-business environment
- Real opportunities to grow with a fast-expanding company
Most importantly — you’ll be part of a team building campers that people proudly tow all over Australia.
