Neowest Building Co Pty Ltd is a well-established Western Australian construction company delivering commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance projects throughout metropolitan, regional and remote Western Australia.

Due to continued business growth and increasing project commitments, we are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This is an excellent prospect to become part of a professional organisation working on a diverse range of commercial construction projects while contributing to the delivery of high-quality building outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications and site instructions.

· Measure, mark, cut, assemble and install timber, laminate, composite and other construction materials.

· Carry out commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance carpentry works.

· Install and repair walls, partitions, ceilings, doors, door frames, windows, flooring, cladding, cabinetry, formwork and other building components.

· Perform maintenance, rectification and refurbishment work on existing commercial buildings and facilities.

· Ensure all work complies with project specifications, Australian Standards and company quality requirements.

· Monitor material usage and report replenishment requirements.

· Maintain protected and clean work areas.

· Comply with workplace health and safety procedures,



PPE requirements and site inductions.

· Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades on active construction sites.

Essential Skills and Experience

· Recognised carpentry trade qualification and/or a minimum of three years' relevant full-time carpentry experience.

· Demonstrated experience in commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance projects.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.

· High level of workmanship and attention to detail.

· Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong communication and time management skills.

· Reliable, motivated and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

· Willingness to travel and work across metropolitan, regional and remote Western Australian project sites.

Pay: $98,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
