We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Cavan site. You will maintain, repair and improve plant and equipment to support safe and efficient production in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on plant and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and complete preventative maintenance tasks
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Complete maintenance reports, checklists and permits
- Support contractor management and participate in toolbox meetings
- Identify improvement opportunities to increase reliability and efficiency
- Follow Quality, Food Safety and WHS requirements at all times
- Participate in weekend and call-out work when required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Current Driver's Licence
Desirable
- Food or manufacturing industry experience
- TIG/ARC welding or fabrication skills
- Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid or BA certification
