Hamilton Elevators NSW is a market-leading, locally owned independent elevator company with our Head Office based in Sydney. We specialise in the service, maintenance, repair, modernisation, complete replacement and new installation of passenger lifts, goods lifts, car lifts and escalators throughout NSW and the ACT.
As our business continues to grow in the ACT, we are seeking an experienced Lift Service Technician to join our expanding team.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of a small but growing service portfolio while being fully supported by our experienced Sydney-based service management team, senior technicians and trusted local subcontractors whenever required.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Fault finding and breakdown attendance.
- Assisting with after-hours callouts (additional remuneration and roster arrangements to be discussed with the successful applicant).
- Maintaining accurate service reports and daily documentation.
- Delivering a high level of customer service while representing Hamilton professionally.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience servicing and maintaining elevators.
- A sound understanding of elevator electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, or a genuine willingness to continue developing these skills.
- The ability to work independently, make sound decisions and manage your own workload.
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Willingness to attend after-hours callouts.
- A reliable work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
