About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical projects across mining and port operations.

This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of stacker/reclaimer and shiploader projects, including design coordination, procurement, fabrication, site installation and commissioning.This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working across both engineering and site environments, managing complexity, and driving outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, cost and risk across major engineering projects

• Lead coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication and site teams

• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client requirements and safety expectations

• Oversee procurement, supplier engagement and manufacturing interfaces

• Support site execution including installation, commissioning and handover

• Monitor project performance,



resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum

• Provide explicit reporting, forecasting and client communication

• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes

About You

• 8–15 years’ experience in project delivery within mining, ports or heavy industry

• Demonstrated experience delivering stacker/reclaimer, shiploader or similar equipment

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline

• Strong understanding of procurement, fabrication and commissioning processes

• Ability to manage technical interfaces across design, manufacturing and site

• Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Experience with project management systems (MS Project, Primavera or similar)

• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent (desirable)
