About the Role

At Chubb Fire & Security, we protect people, property, and assets through industry-leading fire safety and security solutions. As one of Australia's most trusted providers, we deliver critical projects across government, commercial, healthcare, education, defence, and infrastructure sectors.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Canberra team and lead the successful delivery of fire systems projects across the ACT. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful projects while building robust customer relationships and driving exceptional project outcomes.

Importantly, we're open to candidates from a range of project delivery backgrounds. Whether your experience is in fire, electrical, construction, mechanical services, building services, communications, security, HVAC, infrastructure, or other technical project environments, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing projects from award through to completion and client handover.

- Developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

- Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

- Managing project risks, variations, and commercial outcomes.

- Building strong relationships with customers and acting as the key project contact.

- Monitoring project performance to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

- Ensuring all projects are delivered safely and in accordance with company and legislative requirements.





- Supporting business growth through outstanding customer service and project execution.

About You

We're seeking a motivated and organised Project Manager who can confidently manage multiple stakeholders and deliver successful project outcomes.

Essential Experience

- Proven experience managing projects within construction, building services, engineering, infrastructure, electrical, mechanical, communications, security, fire protection, or related industries.

- Strong project planning, coordination, and delivery capability.

- Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, and subcontractors.

- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.

- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project financial performance.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Current ACT security licence

Highly Regarded

- Experience delivering fire protection, fire detection, sprinkler, suppression, or special hazards projects.

- Experience within Federal Government, Defence, healthcare, or critical infrastructure environments.

- Project Management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Diploma, or similar.

- Knowledge of Australian Standards and building compliance requirements.

- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
