The Autosure WA is expanding and looking for Western Australian Based experienced and organised Automotive Aftermarket Sales Consultant to join their team.
We provide remote aftermarket and vehicle protection sales services to automotive dealerships throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
This is not a general customer service or entry-level sales position. We are primarily looking for someone with experience in automotive aftercare, vehicle sales, dealership finance or a closely related automotive sales role who understands dealership processes and can begin producing results quickly.
About the role
You will contact dealership customers to discuss vehicle protection and aftermarket products, manage follow-up opportunities and convert enquiries into sales.
The role is focused on customer contact, follow-up and sales. Our administration team manages warranty registrations and much of the post-sale administration, allowing you to concentrate on building customer relationships and achieving results.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting customers promptly after receiving dealership orders
- Presenting vehicle protection and aftermarket products over the phone
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products
- Consistently following up customers
- Managing multiple dealership pipelines and customer opportunities
- Accurately recording all activity and outcomes in our CRM
- Working toward agreed sales targets, conversion benchmarks and KPIs
- Communicating professionally with dealership sales and finance teams
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and compliance
Experience we are seeking
Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas will be prioritised:
- Automotive aftercare or aftermarket sales
- Dealership business management or automotive finance
- New or used vehicle sales
- Automotive customer retention or dealership telephone sales
Applicants without automotive experience will only be considered where they can provide clear evidence of exceptional telephone sales results in a target-driven environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be:
- Available during WA Car dealership operating hours
- Confident and persuasive over the phone
- Skilled at building rapport and closing sales remotely
- Highly organised and disciplined with follow-up
- Comfortable working independently from home
- Motivated by targets, KPIs and performance-based earnings
- Accurate with CRM updates and customer information
- Customer-focused without being afraid to ask for the sale
- Reliable, responsive and proactive
- Able to manage competing priorities across multiple dealership clients
- Comfortable receiving coaching, feedback and performance reviews
Previous remote work experience will be highly regarded.
