Located near Cloncurry in North West Queensland, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate. Together with the development of Jericho, Eloise forms an important part of AIC Mines’ growth strategy.

About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to join our friendly team at Eloise Copper Mine. Reporting to the Logistics and Procurement Superintendent, this role is critical to supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the site.
The position works an 8 days on, 6 days off day-shift roster and a 7 nights on, 7 nights off night-shift roster.
The core responsibilities of the position include:
- Safely loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and ensuring materials are handled and secured correctly.
- Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Preparing and issuing materials for internal use or external shipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse and ensuring materials are stored and handled correctly.
- Processing material requisitions and accurately recording transactions in Pronto.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Working with other departments to fulfil material requests,
resolve discrepancies and support efficient supply chain operations.
The role is FIFO from Townsville or DIDO from Cloncurry and surrounding areas. Accommodation and meals are provided on site.
About You
We are looking for a practical, motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Officer who can work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in warehousing, logistics, freight or delivery services.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
- The ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous FIFO or mine-site experience, which will be highly regarded.
- Robust attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to unexpected challenges.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
- Computer literacy, particularly within Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience using Pronto, which is desirable.
- A current manual Queensland driver licence.
- A current forklift licence.
- A current Security Clearance for handling explosives, or the ability to obtain one.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe working practices.
- The physical fitness required to perform the role.
The successful applicant will also be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and obtain a satisfactory police clearance.
