Boat O'Craigo is one of the Yarra Valley's premier winery wedding venues, and as our wedding business continues to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Wedding Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role that combines pre-wedding planning with onsite coordination, ensuring every couple enjoys a seamless and memorable wedding day.
About the Role
This is a part-time position (approximately 23 hours per week), with shifts primarily scheduled across Thursday to Monday, including evenings and weekends when weddings are held.
We're looking for someone to commence in October 2026, with the opportunity for an earlier start for the right candidate.
As a growing hospitality business, we're seeking a team player who is also happy to assist within our Cellar Door and Restaurant when required.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-wedding planning meetings with couples.
- Manage all follow-up administration and event documentation.
- Coordinate weddings onsite from start to finish.
- Liaise with couples, suppliers and the wider Boat O'Craigo team.
- Ensure wedding timelines are executed smoothly and professionally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to couples and their guests.
- Support Cellar Door and Restaurant operations during quieter wedding periods or as required.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Has exceptional attention to detail.
- Remains calm and professional under pressure.
- Thinks quickly and solves problems with confidence.
- Loves creating memorable experiences for others.
- Can confidently follow and manage event timelines.
- Is organised, proactive and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
- Holds a current RSA certificate.
- Has previous experience in weddings, events or hospitality (preferred but not essential).
