We are looking for an Engineering Coordinator based in Perth to support our Part 145 and Part 121 maintenance operations across Western Australia. In this role, you will provide engineering coordination support across both Aviair and Nexus Airlines, helping to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance of a diverse fleet operating throughout regional and remote Australia.
Reporting to the Senior Base Engineer and Head of Maintenance, you will play a key role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities. This position is critical to ensuring a regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and the continued airworthiness of our fleet
About the role:
- Coordinate short-term and long-term aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
- Prepare maintenance work packages and ensure the availability of required resources, tooling, materials and documentation.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement teams to minimise aircraft downtime and maximise fleet availability.
- Ensure maintenance activities and planning processes comply with applicable regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Monitor maintenance forecasts, working with Maintenance Control, Engineering Staff, and Stores Teams to support planning of inspections, repairs, and modifications.
- Contribute and assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability and maintenance performance.
- Prepare invoices, coordinate engineering meetings, and undertake general administrative support as required.
About you:
- Experience in coordination, planning, or administrative role within aviation, engineering,
maintenance or related industry.
- Qualifications in aircraft maintenance planning, aeronautical engineering, or a related field is desirable
- Understanding of maintenance programs, airworthiness requirements, and planning systems is desirable
- Proficiency in maintenance software, ERP systems, and digital documentation platforms is desirable
- Exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
