Bakers Delight Castletown is seeking a casual Bakery Assistant/All-rounder/Cleaner to join our team in Townsville, QLD 4812. This is an excellent prospect for someone with a passion for the hospitality and food industry to contribute to the smooth operations of our busy bakery.
This casual position requires availability during daytime hours only.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with a variety of bakery tasks, including food preparation, helping bakers, cleaning the bakery.
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the bakery, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.
- Restocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment.
- Previous food preparation or kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities.

- Must have valid Australian work rights
