The Role

The Senior Food Technologist will play a key role in driving new product development, product optimisation, and commercialisation projects across a diverse product portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading product development and innovation projects from concept through to commercial launch
- Managing product reformulation, optimisation, and value engineering initiatives to support business and customer objectives
- Collaborating closely with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Conducting factory trials, scale-up activities, and commercialisation programs across manufacturing sites
- Monitoring consumer, market,



ingredient, and technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
- Managing customer development briefs and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to support product innovation
- Ensuring all products comply with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements

Your Background

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring:

- Previous experience within Food Technology, Product Development, Innovation, or R&D; in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Proven experience delivering successful NPD and commercialisation projects
- Strong technical understanding of food manufacturing processes, ingredients, and product development methodologies
- Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
