SLICKHAIR is a fast-growing global hair styling brand sold directly to consumers through slickhair.com and stocked by leading retailers across Australia, NZ, USA, the Middle East and Europe. We're a small, ambitious team that moves quickly, takes ownership, and cares deeply about building a globally recognised beauty brand.

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes social media. Someone who instinctively knows what's trending, has an eye for great content, and genuinely enjoys building relationships with creators, influencers and our community. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. About the Role

As our Social Media, Content & Community Coordinator, you'll help bring the SLICKHAIR brand to life across every social platform, including Meta, TikTok, Pintrest, YouTube + Substack.

You'll be responsible for scheduling and publishing content, managing our online community, coordinating influencer gifting, sourcing user-generated content, supporting photoshoots and campaign launches, capture activations and ensuring our social channels are engaging, consistent and always evolving.

This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, creative, proactive and obsessed with social media and marketing.

Social Media Management

Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and other channels, in line with our global marketing calendar.

Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.

Write engaging captions aligned with our brand voice.

Monitor social performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates and viral content.

Work closely with our paid media team to produce and deliver paid ad content.

Community Management

Respond to comments, DMs and community questions across all platforms.

Build relationships with our audience through authentic engagement.

Escalate customer service issues when required.

Help maintain a positive and engaging online community.

Content Coordination

Coordinate product samples for content creators and campaigns.

Source and organise user-generated content (UGC)

Manage ShopMy platform for US-based creators

Liaise with creators to secure content usage rights.

Maintain and organise our digital content library.

Assist with content planning and campaign execution.

Support photoshoots with product preparation, shot lists and logistics.

Influencer & Creator Coordination

Identify new creators who align with the brand.





Coordinate gifting campaigns from start to finish.

Track influencer partnerships and content delivery.

Maintain influencer databases and reporting.

Build genuine relationships with creators and brand advocates.

Brand Support

Assist with product launches and marketing campaigns.

Help coordinate events, activations and PR opportunities.

Support the marketing team wherever needed.

Keep up to date with competitor activity and industry trends.

About You

You're someone who lives and breathes social media—not just scrolling, but understanding why content performs and what captures attention.

You love being organised, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in getting the little details right.

You'll have

2–3 years' experience in social media, content or marketing.

Excellent written communication skills.

A solid understanding of Instagram and TikTok.

Experience using scheduling platforms A positive eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.

Confidence communicating with influencers and creators.

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive attitude—you don't wait to be told what needs doing.

A genuine passion for beauty, fashion or lifestyle brands.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience creating short-form video content.

Basic photography or videography skills.

Canva experience.

Basic Adobe Creative Suite skills.

Experience with Shopify or Klaviyo.

Experience using influencer platforms such as GRIN, Aspire or similar.

What Success Looks Like In your first 12 months, you'll:

Keep Slickhair's social channels consistently active and engaging.

Build an engaged, positive online community.

Increase the volume and quality of creator-generated content.

Ensure influencer gifting runs smoothly and efficiently.

Become the go-to person for keeping our content pipeline full.

Help execute marketing campaigns that people genuinely want to share.
