SOLAR ELECTRICIAN / 3RD OR 4TH YEAR ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

FULL-TIME | $2,000 PER WEEK

On Route Electrical is seeking a reliable and experienced Solar Electrician or 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well within a team and wants consistent, well-paid work across a variety of residential solar and battery projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work on solar and battery installations throughout Greater Sydney, including Western Sydney, the Hills District, the Eastern Suburbs, Southern Sydney and surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities will include

- Installing residential solar PV and battery systems
- Completing electrical and solar installation work safely and efficiently
- Mounting and wiring solar panels, inverters and battery systems
- Assisting with switchboard upgrades and associated electrical work
- Completing installations in accordance with Australian Standards and manufacturer requirements
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe worksites
- Providing skilled and respectful service at customers’ homes
- Working closely with our installation team to complete jobs to a high standard

ABOUT YOU To be considered, you must be either:
- A qualified electrician (relevant solar installation experience highly regarded) ; or
- A 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice with experience or a strong interest in solar and battery installations

You will also need

- A current NSW driver licence
- A Construction White Card




- Your own reliable transport
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- The ability to work safely, efficiently and as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to travel to job sites across Sydney

Highly regarded

- SAA accreditation
- Experience installing solar panels, inverters and battery systems
- Experience with switchboard upgrades and electrical fault-finding
- Working Safely at Heights training
- Battery installation experience
