The role is based on the Gold Coast and offers the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of complex and high-value procurement projects.

Your new role As the Sourcing Lead, you will provide strategic procurement advice and lead end-to-end sourcing activities across a range of high-risk and complex procurement projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage tender processes, negotiate commercial outcomes, and ensure procurement activities align with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities include

- Lead strategic sourcing and category management activities.
- Develop and present sourcing strategies to key stakeholders.
- Manage complex procurement and tender processes from planning through to contract award.
- Lead tender evaluations, supplier negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.




- Conduct market analysis and procurement research to support decision-making.
- Mentor and support procurement team members, providing guidance and professional development.
- Review procurement documentation, evaluations and recommendations to ensure quality and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- Proven experience leading complex or high-risk procurement activities.
- Strong tendering, contract management and supplier negotiation experience.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching or supervising procurement professionals.
