About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. You'll help maintain high food standards, contribute creative menu ideas and weekly specials.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily management of kitchen operations
- Ensure food quality, presentation and portion control standards are maintained
- Assist with menu development and chef specials
- Portion and prepare a variety of meat cuts
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff
