Location: UWA precinct, Western Australia
Salary: $99,134–$118,961 per annum, pro rata depending on prior experience.
Contract: Initial 3-month probation, with extended contract to follow.

Applications are invited for two professional roles based in Nedlands. These roles relate to a Free Enterprise oriented Think Tank with significant political interaction.

Executive Officer — Family-Friendly School Hours - 0.9 FTE

Hours: 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, Monday to Friday Flexible.

This role will provide high-level administrative, diary-management and community-relations support.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Managing a busy diary, appointments and invitations

- Coordinating meetings and small events

- Preparing correspondence and briefing material

- Managing expenses, invoices and office records

- Liaising with community organisations, businesses and government agencies

- Responding professionally to public and stakeholder enquiries





The position may particularly suit an experienced professional returning to the workforce, a parent seeking school-hours employment, or someone living in or near Perth’s western suburbs.

Media and Communications Officer — 0.4 FTE

This role will suit an experienced communications skilled with strong writing and digital media skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Writing media releases, statements, speeches and other public communications

- Producing social media content

- Liaising with journalists and stakeholders

- Identifying media opportunities and emerging issues

- Managing communications schedules and digital content.

- Writing long form research papers.

Applicants should have demonstrated experience in media-release writing, research, social media and professional communications. Commence mid-late Aug 2026.
