Our mental health service offers inpatient programs for youths (from 16 years of age) and adults requiring treatment for mood, anxiety, personalities disorders and alcohol dependency. We also offer neurostimulation services such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and should it be suitable for patients, plus a comprehensive range of day and community programs.

Southport Private Hospital is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Attendant to join our dedicated team. You’ll play an important part in delivering fresh, nutritious meals to patients, visitors, and staff—helping to create a positive hospital experience every day.

In This Hands-on Role, You Will Be Responsible For

Exceptional customer serviceBeing responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wantsSetting up, plating and distributing patient meals and beveragesUndertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standardsAssisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requirementsMonitoring and managing stock levels to ensure effective service delivery

Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment is not essential but highly desirableUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene principlesExcellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focusCompliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace and Health and SafetyCertificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable) Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core valuesFlexibility to work across a 7-day roster
