About the role

This is a full-time Concrete Batcher role with Queanbeyan Pre Mix Concrete, based in Queanbeyan, NSW 2620. As a Concrete Batcher, you will be responsible for the products that make concrete, ensuring each batch meets the required specifications. This is an essential role in the concrete production process, contributing to the overall quality and success of the company's operations.

What you'll be doing

- Accurately weigh, measure and mix the raw materials (cement, sand, rock, water) to create concrete batches to specification

- Monitor the concrete production process and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and consistency

- Operate and maintain concrete batching plant equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and other machinery

- Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations

- Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure efficient and streamlined operations

- Maintain detailed records of concrete production and inventory

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated experience as a Concrete Batcher or similar role in a production or manufacturing setting

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and mix concrete ingredients

- Technical aptitude to operate and maintain concrete batching equipment

- Knowledge of health,



safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting

- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team

- Forklift or other relevant licences/certifications would be highly regarded
