Ready to take the next step in your accounting career?We’re looking for a high-performing Financial Accountant with at least 12 months of commercial experience to join a dynamic, evolving business.
If you’ve trained in a Big 4 environment and are ready to step into a broader, more commercially focused role then this is your opportunity.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving financial modelling and forecasting, and strengthening governance across the business. This is a high-impact, highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders at an exciting time of growth and transformation. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of ad-hoc financial projects, giving you broad exposure across the business.
As a Financial Accountant you will undertake a range of duties including:Lead the end-to-end commission process for Private Wealth, acting as the key partner to advisersOwn month-end close to ensure timely, accurate reportingManage biannual Payment Times Reporting (PTR)Review and approve sales invoices, purchases, and transactional activityOversee equity-settled transactions, including valuation and reportingPrepare annual intangible asset and goodwill impairment assessmentsDeliver cash flow forecasting, budgets, and statutory accountsProvide insightful ad-hoc analysis and contribute to financial projects as requiredPartner with auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth, accurate reporting cyclesMaintain high standards of financial control, accuracy, and compliance

To be successful in this role you will be able to display the following: CA or CPA qualification, supported by a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related disciplineExperience gained in Big 4, mid-tier, and/or commercial environmentsA proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial settingStrong capability in managing complex accounting areas, including commissions, equity transactions, and impairment assessmentsSolid technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and statutory compliance requirementsExcellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomesExposure to Performio, Concur, or NetSuite (highly regarded but not essential)
