About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take accountability for daily business operations, project delivery, tendering, and financial performance across FGI Developments.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of strategic oversight and operational execution, with a strong focus on P&L; performance, growth, and team capability.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day operations across all civil and development projects

- Drive project performance, delivery outcomes, and client satisfaction

- Oversee tendering, estimating, and work-winning activities

- Own and manage P&L;, budgets, forecasting, and cost control

- Build, lead,



and develop a high-performing operations team

- Identify and secure new business opportunities and growth markets

- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and legislative requirements

- Strengthen relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders

- Implement systems and processes to support scalable business growth

About You

You are a results-driven leader with a strong background in civil construction and a passion for building high-performing teams and businesses.

- Proven experience in a General Manager / Senior Operations Leadership role

- Strong background in civil construction and large-scale project delivery

- Demonstrated experience managing P&L; and commercial performance

- Proven success in tendering, securing projects, and driving business growth

- Ability to lead and scale teams in a growth-phase environment

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Strong operational and strategic capability—boardroom to site

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (essential)
