About the Role
A Senior Database Administrator (Oracle WebLogic) position is available within a large enterprise organisation supporting critical infrastructure and cyber security operations.
This role is primarily focused on providing senior operational DBA support, with a strong emphasis on Oracle WebLogic administration, Linux environments and ongoing cyber security patching. You'll join an experienced, collaborative DBA team responsible for maintaining platform stability, supporting production systems and contributing to the organisation's infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
The successful contractor will be expected to hit the ground running, providing immediate operational support across BAU database administration, WebLogic environments and vulnerability remediation with minimal onboarding.
This is an initial 6-month contract with a genuine possibility of extension and longer-term opportunities as the team continues to grow.
