Based at Straight Smile Centre, Adelaide’s leading orthodontic practice recognised for its clinical excellence and personalised approach to patient care, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences from first consult to final smile.

As a Patient Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted guide for our patients; building relationships, explaining treatment options, and helping them feel confident in their decision to start their smile journey. A key part of the role in converting interest to commitment in a way that feels natural, supportive, and pressure-free.

This role suits someone who enjoys working towards goals, building trust, and helping customers say “yes” to something that genuinely improves their life.

What you’ll be doing:

- Create meaningful patient connections
You’ll be one of the first points of contact for new patients; welcoming them, understanding their goals, and helping them feel comfortable and cared for from day one.

- Guide patients through their treatment journey
From initial conversations through to treatment acceptance, you’ll clearly explain options, answer questions, and ensure every patient feels informed and supported.

- Support confident decision-making
You’ll help patients understand the value of their treatment and guide them through payment options; ensuring they feel comfortable moving forward.

- Drive patient conversion and engagement




Maintain strong enquiry-to-consultation and treatment acceptance conversion rates through timely follow-up, proactive communication, and a patient-centred approach. Ensure all enquiries are managed effectively and every patient has the information and support needed to move forward with treatment.

- Coordinate and manage patient cases
Keep everything running smoothly by managing follow-ups, and ensuring no patient falls through the cracks.

- Work closely with a supportive clinical team
Collaborate with orthodontists and team members to deliver a seamless, high-quality patient experience.

What you’ll bring:

- Sales experience desirable

- A passion for people and building genuine relationships

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain things clearly and confidently

- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or any role where you’ve built relationships and delivered great customer experiences

- Confidence guiding conversations and helping customers make decisions

- High attention to detail and solid organisational skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
